JD Hardy – Featured Speaker

JD Hardy and his wife Lindsey have been blessed with ten children, six sons, and four daughters. They have been privileged to homeschool their children for the last 18 years with their oldest graduating last year.

JD grew up in Columbus, MS, and attended Mississippi State University where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering. Upon graduation, they moved to New Orleans where he worked for Shell Oil Company. After five years they knew they wanted to move back to the family farm and raise their children.

JD has had the opportunity to serve as a board member for the Starkville Christian Home Educators and play an active role in the SCHE sports program. JD currently works for MSU overseeing campus planning, design, and construction. He is very thankful for the opportunity to be the speaker for the graduating class of 2022.

He leaves the graduates with this verse. “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” - Acts 20:24

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (NASB)

 Psalm 147:11

“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.”

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
