Rebekah Anne Oakley

Rebekah Anne Oakley is the daughter of Nathan and Deborah Oakley and the third of five children.

She enjoys reading books, watching movies, painting watercolors, baking macarons, arranging flowers, playing board games, walloping her family in Bananagrams, organizing, photography, hiking, and listening to music while doing many of the aforementioned.

Rebekah has played clarinet for eight years with the Starkville Homeschool Music Cooperative, and she is a member of the Starkville Community Band and the student choir at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.

Rebekah has also served as a House and Senate Page, as a Jackson Symphony League Sub Deb and Ambassador, and as a volunteer for Operation Christmas Child.

Rebekah plans to pursue a degree in floral management at Mississippi State University.

Rebekah has long loved "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1).

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (NASB)

 Psalm 147:11

“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.”

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
