Andre Michael Hochstetler, age 17, is the first born of Ken and Anna Hochstetler. He has been homeschooled since kindergarten. He loves sports, music, and working in construction. Andre has played baseball since he was six years old and began playing with Starkville Christian School his freshman year. He has also played summer and fall ball with the Cotton States League as a catcher, pitcher, and shortstop. Baseball will always have a special place in Andre's heart. Andre also played football with the Mustangs. He loves serving the Lord by playing the piano and singing with the worship team at his church, youth group, and other musical events. He has worked for Black Prairie Construction for 2 years and intends to keep working for them. He also looks forward to continuing serving on the worship team and taking more mission trips with his church.
One of Andre’s favorite verses is “For I have commanded you: be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
