Brooklin Bernice Jamison is the youngest child of Cheryl Martin and Wayne Jamison, Jr. She has been homeschooled since middle school. Brooklin has been taking violin lessons from Shandy Phillips since she was 10 years old. She has spent four years performing with the MSU’s Summer Scholars Program. In her free time she enjoys cross-stitching, crocheting, swimming, reading, and writing short stories. Brooklin has a warm heart for people and a passionate spirit for God. Her spiritual awakening occurred at her home church of New Covenant, which she has attended since she was a baby. Brooklin plans to attend East Mississippi Community College. One of her favorite verses is Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
