Latasia Zyna Smith is 17 years old. She was born and raised in Columbus, Mississippi. Upon graduation she plans to go to Bible college. Latasia was baptized at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in the 4th grade. This is her first year being homeschooled after public school. Some people may ask why the sudden change from public to homeschool, but she is confident it was God’s plan. Latasia loves God and reading the Bible and wants to honor Him in everything.
Her favorite Bible passage is Genesis where God created everything. “Our Father in heaven we pray that Your name will be kept holy, that Your kingdom will come, and Your will be done. Give us our daily food, forgive the sins we have done just as we have forgiven those who wronged us, and do not cause us to be tested but save us from the evil one” (Matthew 6:9-13).
