Emily Grace Coggins is the daughter of Terry and Cindy Coggins and the sister of Elizabeth and Josh. Emily is a member of First United Methodist Church, where she is active in the youth group. She has participated in mission trips to Oklahoma and Alaska and is looking forward to her senior mission trip to Chicago this summer. To earn her Girl Scout Gold Award, Emily organized “The Birthday Club” in her youth group to provide birthday parties and presents for the children in the Mississippi Methodist Children’s Home. Emily is a recipient of the 4 Star Award for completing all four levels of the Girl Scouts’ God and Country program. She has also received FUMC’s Good Samaritan Award for good citizenship and community service. Emily enjoys reading, piano, music, pottery, camping and hiking. She plans to continue her education at East Mississippi Community College this fall.
