Aurora Niemet is the daughter of Heath and Carrie Niemet. She is the oldest out of five siblings. At three years old, her family moved to Colorado Springs where she immersed herself in diverse classes like Mandarin, figure skating, and piano.
Upon returning to Mississippi in 2022, she flourished through swimming, singing, and discovered a passion for running. For the past two years, she disciplined herself as a three-season athlete, competing in volleyball with SCHE and cross-country and track for Starkville Christian.
A lifelong bibliophile, Aurora’s literary passion ignited her vision, fueling her creative drive to become a published author. She is advancing this goal by attending USM as a Lucky Day Scholar. Aurora is also the first AHG Stars and Stripes Award recipient in Starkville, Mississippi.
“Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.” 2 John 1:8
