Jenna is the youngest child of Paul and Kathi Funder-burk. During her high school years, her favorite pursuits have been soccer, 5K runs, reading (big shout-out to Mitt, Byrum, and Patsy here!), astronomy, and going on summer mission trips. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree to become a nurse anesthetist. Many Bible verses have been an encouragement and a source of strength for her, but one of her favorites is Philippians 3:13-14: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
