Ervin Ray Jones, III is the third child and only son of Ervin Jones, Jr. and Ann Jones of Ackerman.
He participated in SHMC’s choir throughout his school career. He also played trombone with the band for two years. Ray is also an active volunteer at Life Church, Starkville as an usher and with setup. He also helps with the annual Easter Egg Hunt. He has also volunteered with the Choctaw County Library System, Ackerman with various programs.
Ray’s hobbies include Taekwondo, learning about classic cars, attending car shows, and reading.
Ray plans to enter the workforce upon graduation.
One of Ray’s favorite verses is Matthew 7:7: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
