Tanner Morgan Smith

Tanner Morgan Smith is the daughter of Jack and Klancie Smith. She is the first of five children and has been homeschooled since eleventh grade.

Tanner has been a part of Starkville Christian School athletics for seven years, playing basketball for seven and softball for five. She also enjoyed being a part of the robotics, student council, model security, and FCA leadership teams while she attended school there.

Tanner loves serving as a volunteer at the Starkville Pregnancy Care Center and running her small photography business, Tanner Morgan Photography.

More than anything though, she loves getting to spend time with her family and the people she loves. Tanner hopes to align her love for people and women’s health by becoming a women’s health nurse practitioner.

She plans to attend Mississippi State in the fall and then transfer to nursing school shortly after.

One of her favorite Bible verses is 1 John 4:18 which says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (NASB)

 Psalm 147:11

“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.”

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
