Myra Thompson

Myra Gerry Thompson, age 18, is the eighth child of Johnny and Inger Thompson.

She loves horses, archery, sports, singing, crafting, and styling hair. Since age two, she has been competing in 4-H horse shows at County, District, State, and Regional levels. Myra has been shooting archery for 10 years and is currently a 4-H State Safety Ambassador. Soccer is her favorite sport, and she has played with SCHE for 12 years.

Myra has her own business making wood art creations and styles hair for weddings and special occasions. Reading God’s Word, sharing it with others, and spending time with family and friends are very important to her.

Myra is excited and ready to see what the Lord has planned for her life! Mathew 5:16 – ‘Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3:5-10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
