Micah Foster

Micah James Foster is the son of Stephen and Joeann Foster and the third of eleven children. He enjoys playing piano and banjo, sports, reading, shooting, and anything outdoors. Micah played on the SCHE flag football team, the Mustangs, and currently swims and competes on the Shockwave swim team as well as assisting younger Shockwave students. He has played piano since age nine and won awards in local, regional, and state competitions. He plans to continue his education in the fall at EMCC and then transfer to MSU to obtain a degree in business.

His favorite Bible passage is “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3:5-10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
