Madelynne Leigh Goodson

Madelynne Leigh Goodson is the firstborn of Misty and the late Reginald Goodson. She began homeschooling in fifth grade and has enjoyed participating in SHMC’s band and choir.

For five years she played basketball with SCS, meeting friends and coaches she is forever thankful for. Madelynne has been active in 4-H for nine years. Locally she has served in various leadership roles as a club officer and is currently serving as a 4-H State Ambassador.

She was chosen to represent Mississippi as a delegate and Flag Bearer at National Congress. It is through 4-H that she realized her passion for communication and representative work.

Because of this she plans to attend EMCC and then transfer to MSU and pursue a degree in Public Relations and Marketing. She attends New Covenant Church and Crosspoint Youth.

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 27:3, “If an army encamps against me, my heart will not fear; if war breaks out against me, even then I will keep trusting.”

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (NASB)

 Psalm 147:11

“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.”

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
