Kayla Williamson

Kayla Williamson is the daughter of Ed & Gale W. Belk of Starkville and Michael & Jennifer Williamson of Cumberland, and sister to Laura Hope Belk and Chelsi and Mica Williamson.  She attended Starkville Christian School up until 4th grade and began her homeschooling journey in the 5th grade. Through this journey, God has truly revealed Himself to Kayla, developing her learning through Snider Therapy Centers, and giving her the joy of working on teams through her involvement in the Robotics program and playing softball for SCS.  The Lord has given her a heart for others through mission trips to New Orleans and Chicago with Calvary Baptist Church. Kayla loves the outdoors, and especially enjoys hunting with her granddaddy and four wheeler riding. She is planning to attend EMCC in the fall. Kayla’s favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7, first shared with her by her 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Laura Jordan—“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3:5-10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
