John Michael Lane

John Michael Lane is the tallest in a family of seven giants. He has been homeschooled since kindergarten and is interested in almost all forms of technology. Some of his favorite pastimes are basketball and making people smile. Some things John Michael does not enjoy are writing and
deadlines. He also loves participating in the Awana program as a student leader and on the SCHE Eclipse Robotics team, being a member for ten years. After graduating he will pursue a doctorate in chemical engineering by first attending Mississippi State University. His goal is to one day teach there.

“Do not let kindness and truth forsake you, bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart” (Proverbs 3:3).

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3:5-10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
