Ben Hill

Benny Charles Hill, Jr. is the 18-year-old son of Ben and Myra Hill of Stewart.  He is the oldest of four children and has been homeschooled since kindergarten.  Benny has enjoyed participating in 4-H Shooting Sports since he was twelve.  He has been shooting shotgun and has qualified to go to the state competition for the last three years.  He also enjoyed playing football for three years with SCHE.  He is a member of the Stewart Volunteer Fire Department.  Some of the things that he likes to do are deer and duck hunting, mud riding, and hanging out with family and friends.  He plans to go to college in the future.  He is very involved with his church family at Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church and has participated in Bible drills for the past eight years.  One of his favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:13,”I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3:5-10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
